Faces at the Bottom of the Well explores the relationship to identity, lost culture juxtaposed to cultural appropriation. These paintings acknowledge that I am a descendent of a stolen man on stolen land. The ugly feelings and micro/macro aggressions that are a by-product of this are expressed in this series.
